Kaye Charlene Haynes, 77

Kaye Charlene Haynes, 77, of Oliver Springs, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025.
Born April 18, 1947,  in Montgomery, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Hatton Conkwright and Isaac Conkwright.  She married her husband, David “Pete” Haynes on June 27, 1975.  Together, they lived their lives on the farm.  They were avid gardeners, growing and canning their crops before taking them to the Mt. Sterling Farmers Market to sell and share with others.  She enjoyed crocheting, but most importantly, family was everything to her.  She adored her grandbabies who were the light of her life.
Survivors include her children, Kim (Franklin) Kennedy, Jennifer Hall, Anthony Haynes and Beth Haynes Barnes; sisters, Vivian Conkwright (Jerry) Halterman and Vickie Conkwright Bennett; brother, Greg Conkwright; grandchildren, Kayla Kennedy (Lucas) Chavira, John David (Kaitlyn) Kennedy, Joseph (Lashae Haun) Kennedy, Braxton Pemberton and Emma Barnes; great-grandchildren, Penelope, Colby, Sterling, Valkyrie and Anna; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Haynes; sister, Mary Crowe; and brother, Kavin Conkwright. 
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
