Hope Hill Youth Services celebrated today with a ribbon cutting ceremony the re-opening of its campus.

It is re-opening as a residential facility for youths in the foster care system at 700 Hope Hill Road.

In a social media release inviting the public to attend the ceremony, Hope Hill said, "After two years of hard work and dedication Hope Hill is proud to announce the opening of the McCarty House, a specialized population residential and emergency shelter."

It further said, "This re-opening represents an important investment in the well-being of vulnerable youth, providing a safe, structured and supportive environment where young people can receive care, guidance, education and therapeutic services. Hope Hill's mission continues to focus on helping children and families heal, grow and build brighter futures through compassionate and evidence-based care."

The opening was made possible by a number of individual donors and support.

Members of the Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, local officials, etc., were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Food and refreshments followed the ceremony.

The Advocate will have more details in next week's paper!
