Unified track and field starting for 6th-12th graders with disabilities

Montgomery County Unified Track & Field is Starting!

If your student in grades 6–12 has a disability and is interested in sports, we would love for them to join the Montgomery County Unified Track & Field team this spring!

What You Need to Know:
• Open to male and female students in grades 6–12
• No fee to participate
• Practice will be held once per week with the Varsity Track Team
• A current sports physical is required
• Unified athletes may attend team practices but will work with their peer partner once per week.

Events include:
• 2x50M dash (1 peer partner/1 unified athlete)
• 2x200M dash (1 peer partner/1 unified athlete)
• 4x100M relay (2 peer partners/2 unified athletes)
• Long jump (2 attempts each)
• Shot put (2 throws each)

Unified athletes may compete in up to four events.
