TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Ramp work scheduled for I-64 in Montgomery Co.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 13, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled ramp work on Interstate 64 at Exit 110 and Exit 113 in Montgomery County. The work is part of the ongoing I-64 rehabilitation project in Clark, Montgomery and Bath counties.

Beginning Sunday night, Aug. 16, paving operations will take place nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Beginning Monday, Aug. 17, crews will conduct milling operations during daytime hours, followed by paving at night.

The ramps will remain open during both operations; however, motorists should expect delays. Rolling roadblocks will be utilized as needed, and message boards will be in place to notify motorists of the work.

Work is expected to be complete by Friday, Aug. 21, weather permitting. Motorists should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
