Tony Curtis Edwards, 63, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at home.
Born Jan. 28, 1963, in Pineville, he was the son of the late Chris and Sadie Caldwell Edwards. He worked at Precision Tube, and enjoyed cooking and mowing grass. Above all, those who knew him, knew his deep love for guitars—whether he was playing, repairing, or building them.
Survivors include three daughters, Holly (David) Moore of Kettering, Ohio, Rachel Edwards of Mt. Sterling and Cyler Edwards (Christian Himes) of Berea; three grandsons, Ethan Moore-Edwards, Phoenix Himes and River Edwards; two sisters, Carol (Paul) Kovar of Cambridge, Ohio, and Louise (Todd) Moore of Barnesville, Ohio; two brothers, Earnest (Connie) Edwards of Lore City, Ohio, and Randall (Nancy) Edwards of Pleasant City, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved aunt, Sarah Christenson of Mt. Sterling.
Service was conducted Monday, July 6, at Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals with Howard Hamilton officiating.
