Ricky D. Berry, 71, of Winchester, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at home.
Born Dec. 11, 1953, in Winchester, he was the son of the late Morris and Lella Snowden Berry. He worked as a mechanic for the Lexington Fayette County Government until his retirement. He loved his church and served the congregation as a deacon at the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Barnett Berry; daughter, Valerie Berry of Winchester; aunts, Ava Barnett and Mary Snowden; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service was conducted Friday, Oct. 24, at the Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Skidmore officiating. Burial was in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bradley Barnett, Donnie Barnett, Justin Barnett, Bryson Barnett, Mark Barnett and Morris Barnett.
Honorary pallbearers were Sonny Fawns, Joe Bentley, Billy Ray Barnett, Jerry Snowden and Arthur Cole.
Funeral services entrusted to the care of Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals.
