Randy Gordon Daugherty, 80, of Frenchburg, died Monday, June 1, 2026, at Menifee Meadows.
Born Nov. 22, 1945, in Mt. Sterling, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lettie Amburgey Daugherty. He attended Frenchburg Baptist Church, retired from Boneal Manufacturing and was an Airforce Veteran. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening and landscaping.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Daugherty; a daughter, Melissa Back (Scotty) of Frenchburg; brother, Wayne Daugherty (Pam) of Means; sister, Sandra Chambers of Means; and grandson, Evan Back.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Daugherty, Walter Daugherty and Jack Daugherty.
Service was conducted Monday, June 8, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Wayne Myers officiating. Burial was in Gibbs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scotty Back, Joseph Back, Joseph Scott Back, Dan Wells, Evan Back and Kevin Lane.
Honorary pallbearers were Chad Chambers, Wayne Daugherty, Casey Ray and Silas Raney.
