Public service announcement issued for Greenbrier Reservoir pass holders:

MSWS issues public service announcement to Greenbrier Reservoir passholders:

This is a public service announcement to all our Greenbrier Reservoir passholders:

We have been made aware of several instances where a passholder is leaving their pass for a non-passholder to access the lake.

The waiver that you sign when coming in to purchase your pass ONLY INCLUDES members of your HOUSEHOLD.

We have surveillance cameras in several locations, including the entrance gate that shows visuals of this being done, as well as our system notifying us of back-to-back swipes of passholder cards. With us being aware of this, we are checking this DAILY.

If we find that you are doing this, your pass will be immediately revoked without notice and no refund will be given. This revocation will be indefinite and will include everyone seen in the video using the pass.

If you feel that your pass has been revoked without due cause, to reinstate the pass, you must provide proof of residency for everyone in the video seen swiping the pass, because again, the pass only covers those IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD.

Should this continue to be an issue, MSWS will close the lake to all public access.

Daily passes and annual passes have to be purchased Monday through Friday, 8-4:30, at our office located at 300 E Main St. Passes cannot be purchased on the weekends, they must be purchased the week prior. We are now requiring new passholders to provide proof of residency for everyone over the age of 18, listed on the waiver.

We appreciate everyone following the rules and regulations. For any questions, please contact our office at 859-498-0166.
