* WHAT...A wintry mix of freezing rain, snow, and plain rain will work into northwestern parts of the area this morning before many locations are able to rise above freezing. As a result, there is the potential for icy patches to develop on area roads and particularly for bridges and overpasses. Look for rising temperatures to end the threat by noon.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky.

* WHEN...Until noon EST today.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.
