From the MSPD:
Two Great Ways to Beat the Heat: Being Poolside with a Popsicle!
The Mt. Sterling Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department for allowing our officers the opportunity to visit the community pool and pass out popsicles to the kids and patrons enjoying the summer weather.
Building positive relationships within our community is one of our favorite parts of the job, and there’s no better way to cool off on a hot day than spending time poolside with a refreshing popsicle!
We appreciate Parks and Recreation for their partnership and for providing a fun, safe place for families to enjoy throughout the summer. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, grab a popsicle, and spend a few moments with our officers.
Stay cool, stay safe, and enjoy the rest of your summer!
