Pinwheel planting ceremony held for Child Abuse Awareness Month

From Gateway Children's Services:

Today was a beautiful and meaningful day in Montgomery County

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation Signing and Pinwheel Planting. We’re especially grateful to County Judge Executive Chris Haddix, Mayor Al Botts, Representative David Hale, and Senator Greg Elkins for speaking today and for their continued commitment to children in our community.

The blue pinwheels spinning on the courthouse lawn are a symbol of the innocence of childhood and the bright futures every child deserves. Stop by this week to see them and take a moment to reflect.

Thank you for standing with us in prevention, awareness, and hope.
