Ronald Dale Leach, 60, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at University of Kentucky Hospital.
Born April 10, 1965, in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Robert Perkins and Beverly Joyce Brown. He worked in construction/home building for Rick Henry Construction. He was an avid bowler, loved NASCAR and fishing, and was a big NFL fan.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Heather Leach; a son, Chad Aaron Leach (Hannah) of Mt. Sterling; special daughters, Lesley Mencsik of Germantown, Ohio, and Amy Nicely of Middletown, Ohio; a brother, Allen Leach of Easton, Ohio; sister, Debbie Henry (Rick) of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Dylan Leach, Abigail Leach, Madison Leach, Brogan Leach and Kasum Leach; sister-in-law, Dawn Cox (Tommy) of Wellington; brother-in-law, Rusty Vice (Glynda) of Salt Lick; mother-in-law, Jeanne Brennan of Mt. Sterling; and an uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dale Leach; brothers, Donald Leach and David Leach; and a grandson, Baby Boy Leach.
Celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17, at Means Baptist Church, 6152 U.S. Hwy. 460, Means.
