Matthew Thomas Brinegar, 34, of Jeffersonville, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2025.
Born July 25, 1991, in Mt. Sterling, he was the son of Anita Profitt Tipton and the late Carl Thomas Brinegar. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church and was a forklift operator for Link Belt.
In addition to his mother survivors include his wife, Jennifer Brinegar; sons, Liam Brinegar of Hope-Means, Jenson Brinegar of Clay City and Jesse Curtis (Ashlee) of Owingsville; daughter, Morgan Curtis (Jake Lee) of Morehead; brother, Robert Brinegar of Madison; sisters, Rita Woolery and Bridget Ferrebee, both of Estill County; and in-laws, Roger and Dorothy Toy of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Kayla Brinegar.
Service was conducted Thursday, Oct. 30, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Skidmore and Pastor Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial was in Machpelah Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jake Lee, Jesse Curtis, Courtney Cecil, Cecil Sheffield, Buddy Helton and Ron Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Roger Toy, Dwayne Butler, Sam Johnson and Macedonia Baptist Church.
