Martha Marie Woosley, 86, of Clay City, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at her residence.
Born Jan. 8, 1939, in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Walter Scott Aldridge and Carrie Vina Mae Strange.
Survivors include daughters, Jessie Louise Jordan (Patrick) of Stanton, Carrie Ann Bailey (Phillip Grizzle) of Glasgow, Barbara Chapman (Ed) of Manchester, Tenn., Diana Bailey (Steve Dudek) of Springhill, Tenn. and Ruby Reid of Argyle, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ealie Gordon Woosley Jr.; son, Warren Scott Bailey; five half-brothers; sister, Gracie McPherson; and a half-sister.
Service was conducted Friday, Oct. 24, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronald Gene Johns officiating. Burial was in Machpelah Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Patrick Jordan, Ronnie Whisman, Ryan Jordan, Danny Ray Plowman, Everett Ginter, Jimmy Markland, David Catron and Ronnie Diedrich.
Honorary pallbearer was Marty Allen Dennis.
