Montgomery County History Museum and Historical Society large gathering at Morgan Station tonight! Such an interesting evening hearing about the the history of the last Indian raid in Kentucky in 1793 and touring the historic home built in 1796.

On April 1st, 1793, Morgan's Station was attacked by a group of Shawnee and Cherokee. Over the next several days, 14 settlers would lose their life.
The next meeting took place at Morgan's Station (3751 Harper's Ridge) on Monday, June 22. The historical society provided the food and drinks. Dinner was at 6:00 PM, and a tour of the grounds and stone home (circa 1795) followed at 7 PM.
