Joseph Lee Wilson, 73, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Friday, June 12, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.
Born Aug. 26, 1952, he was the son of Harold Turner and Lucille Bohanon Wilson. He was a member and elder at Gateway Christian Church and a retired WIC supervisor for Kentucky Social Services.
Survivors include his brother, Eddie (Teresa) Wilson of Mt. Sterling; son, Tom Wilson of Mt. Sterling; daughters, Nora Reffitt and Kayla (Dakota) Dillon, both of Mt. Sterling; granddaughter, Autumn Caudill of Mt. Sterling; great-grandson, Ryan Dillon of Mt. Sterling; two great-granddaughters, Lucy-Belle Dillon and Lily Reffitt, both of Mt. Sterling; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Curtis and Donna Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Frank (Judy) Curtis and Larry (Francis) Curtis.
Celebration of life was held Wednesday, June 17 at Gateway Christian Church.
Pallbearers were Dakota Dillon, Tom Wilson, Connor Jackson, Brett Stamps, Wesley Lykins and Kyle Chandler.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Willing Workers Bible School Class at Gateway Christian Church, and elders and deacons at Gateway Christian Church.
Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
