John Randall “Randy” Russell, 74, of Paris, died Monday July 20, 2026, at his residence.
Born Oct. 12, 1951, in Mt. Sterling, he was the son of Patsy Wright Russell of Salt Lick and the late Lee J. Russell. He was a graduate of Bath County High School, heavy equipment operator, member of the Kentucky Corp of Longriflemen and faithful member of the Midland First Church of God.
In addition to his mother survivors include his wife, Tammy Tyree Russell; sister, Kathy Russell Richardson (Buddy); niece, Christie Richardson Lawson (T.J.); and great-nephews, Dylan, Ethan and Owen Ferrell.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ewell and Roxie Wright; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Anna Russell.
Memorial service was conducted Saturday, July 25, at Midland First Church of God with Bro. Bush Stevenson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Midland First Church of God.
