Hot meals, volunteers needed for inclement weather center

From the Montgomery County Homeless Coalition

Hello, Montgomery County, Kentucky! We have had some lovely people reach out to see how they can support our cause to assist our unhoused friends. We have some people who want to help but are unable to do so in person due to their work schedules, health status, etc. We are so appreciative of any form of help, whether volunteering, donating money or items, or other ways.

We have been staying open during the day as well, in addition to our nightly openings of 32 degrees and below.

We NEED HOT MEALS to provide to guests while they stay. According to the forecast, we need to be open the next two days (and nights) and could use meals for 6 people during this time. If this is a way you would like to give back to the community, please reach out to us and let us know.

For those who can volunteer in person, we need more help over the coming days and nights. Please reach out to April by calling or texting 859-447-0630 or calling Paula at 859-520-3004 or texting Paula at 859-404-2846.

Please share. Thank you!
