The Montgomery County Fiscal Court and Rumpke Waste and Recycling are partnering to offer all county residents a free trash disposal day for non-hazardous household waste. The event is set for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Montgomery County Landfill, 30 Larison Road.
Residents must provide proof of residency prior to disposal. Participants can dispose of up to one pickup truck load of household waste and large items, such as mattresses, furniture, appliances (no freon) and more.
