Ten young women from the Class of 2027 are taking part in the Distinguished Young Women of Montgomery County Scholarship Program. Participants will compete in five categories including scholastics, interview, talent, fitness and self-expression, with cash scholarships totaling more than $15,000.
This year’s participants are Hanna Gilvin, Kaydence Endicott, Ada Pinney, Claudia Steele, Kira Mills, Ariana Morton, Sophia Fouch, Zoe Denniston, Sarah Kate Lansdale and Avery Meek.
The final program will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Montgomery County High School. Tickets are $10 each while available. Reach out to Lindsay Maples at montgomeryky@distinguishedyw.org for more information.
