District recognizes officers who help keep students safe

If you have children in the school system, you will recognize these familiar faces.

From Montgomery County Schools:

Today, we recognize National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated officers who help keep our students safe every day.

From welcoming students at school doors to building positive relationships on our campuses, your presence provides comfort, protection, and peace of mind for our families. You are an essential part of our school community, and your commitment to supporting our students does not go unnoticed.

A special thank you to the men and women who serve our district:
Chief of Police Chris Barrier, Sergeant Brandon Burton, SGM Steve Trimble, and our School Resource Officers — Danielle Tufono, Kevin Willoughby, Duane Kidd, Robbie Miles, Wayne Green, Todd Coleman, and Mike Asbury.

Thank you for caring for, protecting, and inspiring our students — today and always.
