Dianne Jo Hart Estes, 72, of Mt. Sterling, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026 at her home.
Born Dec. 26, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Richard “Dick” and Lena Jones Hart. She was president of the Class of ’72 at Montgomery County High School and a graduate of Morehead State University with a degree in nursing. After graduation, she worked for the Montgomery County Health Department. Later, she retired as a nurse case manager for workers compensation. She was a lover of all things crafty, enjoyed baking and spending time fishing at Calk Lake.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Estes; niece, Kim Hart Vanderoort of Frankfort; step daughter, Stephanie Morris (Terry) of Mt. Sterling; step grandchildren, Brennan Morris and Cayden Morris, both of Mt. Sterling; and nephew, Justin Crockett.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jordan Willis; and brother, Duaine “Wayne” Hart.
Celebration of life was conducted Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Carmichael officiating.
