City hosting free document shredding event

From the city of Mt. Sterling:

Do you have sensitive paper documents or records that you wish to safely dispose of? The City of Mount Sterling, in partnership with Docubit, will host a free document shredding event for city residents on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 11AM to 2PM. The location will be at “The Market Pavilion”, located at 153 South Maysville Street, Mt. Sterling KY 40353. Proof of city residency will be required. If possible, please bring your documents in paper bags for quick disposal. There is a limit of two bags of paper (2ft x 2ft x 2ft) per household.
