Chief Aaron Noel thanks MSPD team, public works, county, others for efforts during storm

From Mt. Sterling Police Dept. Chief Aaron Noel:

I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible work our team accomplished during the recent storm. We transported five nurses and other essential staff to their workplaces, handled multiple prescription pickups and deliveries, conducted numerous welfare checks, and worked with public works to keep roads clear so plows could operate. Our team also maintained 24/7 patrols to locate stranded or homeless individuals in need of a warm place to stay.
These are just a few examples of the many often unseen efforts our agency takes on.

I’d also like to give a big thank you to our public works department for doing an outstanding job clearing the streets, and to our local, state, and county officials for working together to keep things running smoothly. Saying I’m proud of the men and women who serve our community is truly an understatement.

Stay warm and safe! If you need us, remember we’re only a phone call away. Thank you.
