The Montgomery County Board of Education has announced a special session that will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at the Clay Community Center. It will begin at 6 p.m. We have included topics on the agenda below:

IV. Discussion / Approval of SFCC Offer of Assistance 

V. Discussion / Possible Action Regarding Superintendent Search Timeline 

VI. Discussion / Possible Action Regarding Superintendent Search Vacancy Advertisement 

IV. Discussion / Possible Action Regarding Superintendent Search Candidate Criteria 

V. Discussion / Possible Action Regarding Superintendent Search Recommendations of Number of Top Candidates Presented to the Board through the Search Committee 

VI. Appointment of an Individual to Assist the KSBA Consultant in the Search Committee Selection Procedures 

VII. Appointment of Board Member to Serve on Superintendent Search Screening Committee Per KRS 160.352

The agenda notes the meeting may be a video teleconference. The primary location of the meeting is Clay Community Center where all members can be seen and heard and the public may attend in accordance with KRS 61.840.
