Montgomery County's Braylen Blevins capped an outstanding 2026 season Sunday by capturing the Kentucky Youth Bowling Tour U14 Season Championship, solidifying his place among Kentucky’s top young bowlers.
Competing in the season-ending KYBT Finals in Elizabethtown, Blevins won both of his matches in the U14 division to earn the season title, finishing a year defined by consistency and success against some of the state’s best youth competition.
The season championship was just one of four major honors Blevins earned. He also received awards for:
KYBT U14 Bowler of the Year; Highest U14 Season Average; Highest U14 Season Scholarship Earnings; KYBT U14 Season Champion.
The KYBT is considered one of the state’s premier youth circuits, featuring top bowlers from across Kentucky while offering scholarship opportunities and season-long points competition.
Blevins’ latest accomplishment adds to an already impressive year. Earlier this season, he finished runner-up at the Kentucky Youth Bowling Tour Youth Championship while earning a scholarship award.
By season’s end, Blevins had established himself as the top bowler in the U14 division, earning the tour’s highest individual honor while leading the division in average, scholarship earnings and the season championship.
For the Montgomery County standout, it marks another significant milestone in what continues to be a promising young bowling career.
