From Montgomery County Lady Indians Basketball:
Courtney Danis Impact Player Award
New to the 2025-2026 season was a post-season award created to honor a player that impacted the game in ways that transcended the traditional box score.
The award was created and named after former Lady Indian, Courtney Danis. In addition to being a 1,000 point scorer (1,941), Courtney contributed to winning in ways that went beyond scoring points and helped her team win multiple Region Championships.
This past year, our staff tracked multiple impact stats throughout the course of the season and awarded stickers to players that met the criteria after each game (steals, deflections, rebounds, assists, FT%, VPS, spirit, and hustle plays).
The winner of our first annual Courtney Danis Impact Player Award was senior, Addison Terry, who led the way with over 80 stickers earned.
