Helen Olene Bailey Johnson, 83, of Means, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Baptist Health in Lexington.
Born May 28, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Nola May Bailey. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was blessed with a large family that she loved very much.
Survivors include a son, Farra David (Carla) Johnson of Means; four grandchildren, David (Angie) Johnson, Bill Keck, Krystle (John) Verhoeven and William (Ashlee) Johnson; nine great-grandchildren, Kasey (Douglas) Miller, Maddison Johnson, Kaidence (Zach Heimbach) Johnson, Farrah Miller, Helen Miller, Jasper Keck, Justin King, Brad (Cierra) Vielee and Aaron Vielee; four great-great-grandchildren, Hazel Baldwin, Jackson Hayden, Lindey Miller and Cora Vielee; two brothers, Scott Bailey and Roy (Maria) Bailey; three sisters, Linda (Pete) Smith, Lynn Rose and Hazel Mullins; Stacie (Jay) and Shayna Garrett and many more nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Henry Johnson; daughter, Janie Keck; two brothers, Michael Bailey and James Bailey; and three sisters, Mavis Bailey, Fleeta Walters and Bernice Robinson.
Service was conducted Saturday, July 12, at the Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals Chapel with Lonny White officiating. Burial was in the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Verhoeven, William Johnson, David Johnson, Jay Garrett, Pete Smith and Carla Johnson.
