Schools closed due to power outages

Due to power outages throughout the county, including Northview Elemenatary, there will be no school today, March 5,. 

For families enrolled in childcare, Mapleton will be open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Please send a sack lunch with your child, the school system advises.

The weather event early this morning has left several sections of the city without power, the city has shared. LG&E and KU have been notified and are responding. You can report or track a power outage at the LG&E and KU website @ https://lge-ku.com/
