Glendora Francis Hackley, 100

Glendora Francis Hackley, 100, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at Windsor Care Center.
Born Sept. 9, 1924 in Brooksville, she was the daughter of the late Acie Perkins and Golda Hedgecock.  She moved to Mt. Sterling with her husband, Miles Hackley, many years ago.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Sterling for 40 years and did a lot of work in the visitation ministry in the community at their church.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane DeArmond of Mt. Sterling; and a granddaughter, Tanya Undercofler (Bradley) of Virginia Beach, Va.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Hackley; sister, Mildred Polick; and a grandson, John Wayne Pierce.
Graveside service was conducted Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Germantown with Pastor Chris Wells officiating.
Pallbearers were Adrian Nix, Danny Stevenson, James Leach, Allen LeMaster, Stacy Smith, Tim Martin and David Evans.
