Born April 14, 1947, in Mt. Sterling, he was a cherished member of his community and dedicated family man. He was drafted and proudly served in the Army for two years, where he forged bonds and skills that he carried throughout his life. After his military service, he embarked on a fulfilling career with Rockwell International, where he worked until his retirement. Known for his kind, gentle, loving and caring nature, he was the heart of his family. He was an avid enthusiast of drag racing and had a passion for building carburetors. This hobby not only fulfilled him but also expanded his circle of friends who shared his interests. He cherished the outdoors, spending countless hours mowing and tinkering with anything he could disassemble. His playful spirit shone brightest when he was with his grandchildren, whom he loved fiercely. He was a kind hearted and knowledgeable car enthusiast who touched many lives through drag racing and beyond. He will be remembered for his heart of gold.
He was married to Wilma Brewer for 44 years; a loving father to Randy Brewer, Alicia Brewer and Tina Gay (Doug); and caring brother to Darlene Brewer and Donna Pendleton. His joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Travis Snowden (Sarah), Amber Denise (Brandon), Jordon Brewer (Brooke), Autumn Brewer (Dylan), Nathan Brown, Hannah Brewer and Jaden Brewer; and his ten great-grandchildren.
